From a trip to the New Valley Church, Loudoun Co., this afternoon I can say
several things: <snip> he was the son "Johann Nicholas" born to
Jacob Frey
(1711-85) in Frederick Co., MD,
and who came to
Loudoun Co., where his father died, after serving in the 4th Maryland
(Continental Line---"The German Battalion") in the war.
